Armada Media Corporation is comprised of six clusters serving the Upper Midwest and near West markets. Armada owns 32 properties. Stations are located in five states: Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas, Michigan and Wisconsin.

Chris Bernier, President/CEO
Over 40 years of radio experience, built cluster of stations in Fond du Lac, WI that he sold before joining Armada. Has been an officer of Armada since it acquired its first stations in 2006. Bernier has been active in state and local broadcast groups, past Board Member and Chair of the Wisconsin Broadcaster Association, served on committees for the RAB and the NAB.
Terry Shockley, Chairman
Terry Shockley, Chairman of Armada Media Corporation, is a career broadcaster. Terry has operated, managed, and owned Radio, Television, and Video Post Production facilities. He and his wife Sandy were the co founders of Shockley Communications Corporation, owners of 14 Radio, Television and Video Post Production profit centers. Upon the stock sale of Shockley Communications Corporation in 2001, Terry and Sandy formed Shockley Group, Inc. which serves as a consulting business in four major segments of Business: Sales, Leadership, Business Mentoring, and Motivational Speaking. Terry & Sandy Shockley are both Hall of Fame Broadcasters in Wisconsin.
Terry Shockley is in the Madison Business Executive Hall of Fame, has received the Hixon Award by Kiwanis International for community service. Along with earning scouting’s highest rank, that of Eagle Scout, Terry has been awarded the prestigious Silver Beaver Award for his service to youth and scouting.
Terry graduated from Augustana College with a degree in Speech with emphasis in Radio/TV. At Augustana, Terry was a Three Time Conference Wrestling Champion, NAIA finalist 1961, NCAA Mid-East Regional Champion and NCAA National Qualifier in 1962. Terry was inducted into the Augustana Athletic Hall of Fame in 1982, the National Wrestling Hall of Fame, Life Time Service, in 2006, and the Division III Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2011. Recently, Terry served as Chairman of the Board of Governors for the National Wrestling Hall of Fame 2014 -2018. Terry holds a Masters Degree in Radio/Television-Film from the University of Kansas. Terry Shockley’s career has been distinguished by service to local communities.

Robert Bourke, CFO/Treasurer
Has been involved with the company since its first acquisition in 2006. Had a nearly 40 career in the Banking Industry. Helps the company with arranging financings, managing its cash and with various strategic issues.
Jason Thompson, Board Member
Jason T. Thompson was elected as a Director of Armada Media Corporation effective as of July 1, 2020. In addition, Mr. Thompson is a partner and a member of the transactional group of Michael Best & Friedrich LLP where he focuses on mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters, having joined Michael Best in September 2006. Mr. Thompson assists his clients with negotiating and structuring many types of transactions and agreements, including those related to corporate reorganizations, financing, buyout transactions and venture capital investment transactions. In addition, he is President of Thompson Family Holdings, LLC, which invests in, and consults for, a number of companies, having joined Thompson Holdings in 2010. From 1999 to 2004, Mr. Thompson served as Vice President of Development and Planning for Bulk Petroleum Corporation, where he oversaw sales, operations, client maintenance, scheduling accounting and workforce management for its construction projects. Prior to joining Bulk Petroleum, Mr. Thompson was a senior auditor with Arthur Andersen. He is a certified public accountant. Mr. Thompson received a BBA in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 1996 and in 2006, received his JD from the University of Wisconsin, where he was a member of the Wisconsin Law Review.
