Big Stone Radio
KDIO began broadcasting on July 23, 1956 from “The Little Red Schoolhouse,” which still stands north of Ortonville’s Golf Course but it has been renovated to a personal residence. The founders of KDIO were Don Egert, Cy McCormick, Dick Schultz, and Jim Kaercher. Currently, the station is owned by Armada Media, headquartered in Fond du Lac, WI.
